According to the Central Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting Center, April 4th is predicted to be the peak day of hot weather in the northern and central provinces.
Accordingly, widespread heatwaves are occurring throughout the Northwest region, the mountainous areas of the Northeast region, and the mountainous areas from Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien Hue, with temperatures generally ranging from 35-38 degrees Celsius.
In some areas like Hoa Binh, Muong La, Tuong Duong, Dong Ha, or Nam Dong, temperatures will reach 39-40 degrees Celsius, with intense heat.
Hanoi continued to experience hot and sunny weather on April 4th, with temperatures reaching 36 degrees Celsius.
In Ho Chi Minh City and the Southern region, the weather is expected to cool down during the weekend. Temperatures on April 4th are forecast to not exceed 34 degrees Celsius, with cloudy skies and humidity at 65%, creating a rather stuffy feeling.
