(Baonghean.vn) -On March 19, Chau Thon Commune Party Committee - Que Phong District held the 11th Party Congress, term 2015-2020.

Attending the congress were comrade Nguyen Dinh Hong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee and representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Party Committees; comrades in the Standing Committee of Que Phong District Party Committee, heads of departments, branches, and mass organizations at district and commune levels... 130 delegates representing over 230 party members in 18 Party cells in the whole commune.

Approval of the 2010-2015 term report submitted to the congress

During the past term, thanks to creating consensus, maximizing collective strength and solidarity of the people, Chau Thon commune has gradually eliminated hunger and reduced poverty. Total annual food output increased, by 2015 the total food output reached 2,151 tons; the rice area was stable at 398 hectares, the average rice yield reached 51.85 quintals/ha. Livestock development was strong. The total herd of buffaloes, cows and pigs was nearly 6,000. During the past term, many targets were achieved, the total production value in the last year of the term was estimated at 53 billion 805 million VND, an increase of 15 billion 277 million VND compared to the 2010 term.

The average growth rate in 5 years is 6.91%, exceeding the congress target. The average income per capita reached nearly 10 million VND/year, an increase of over 3 million VND compared to the previous term. The poverty rate decreased to 48.68%. The whole commune has nearly ten trucks, passenger cars of all kinds, 32 commercial establishments, an increase of 28 establishments compared to the beginning of the term. In 5 years, 28 projects were invested in construction, mainly canals, roads, schools, community houses in hamlets and villages..., of which the project with the largest investment capital is the 2-storey secondary school building with a total investment of over 11 billion VND.
