At the meeting, the Central delegation listened to a report on the implementation of tasks in 2014 and the first quarter of 2015 in Nghe An. Accordingly, the socio-economic situation is stable and continues to develop, specifically 25/27 targets have been achieved and exceeded the plan. The targets of GDP growth rate, budget revenue, and per capita income all increased compared to 2013. The economy continued to maintain a good growth rate in the first quarter of 2015 with a growth rate of 6.22%, higher than the same period in the last 3 years.
The social and cultural fields have made much progress with the training system and health facilities being expanded and upgraded, the quality of education and community services being improved, and social security being ensured. In particular, the highlight of the past year's culture and society was the event of the Nghe Tinh Vi and Giam folk songs being recognized by UNESCO as a representative intangible cultural heritage of humanity. National defense, security, social order and safety have been ensured; the work of building the Party and the political system has had many positive, synchronous and comprehensive changes. The preparation work for the Provincial Party Congress, on the basis and basis, has been timely, in accordance with the process and in the right direction. By March 31, 2015, 74/94 grassroots Party organizations had held the Congress, ensuring all 4 contents according to Directive No. 36-CT/TW of the Politburo.

After listening to the report of the Provincial Party Standing Committee as well as the opinions of comrades at the working session, comrade Le Hong Anh highly appreciated the achievements that Nghe An achieved in 2014 and the first quarter of 2015. He highly agreed with the development direction in the coming time, focusing on the system of key infrastructure such as transportation, industry and investment environment to attract resources, create breakthrough momentum, and complete at the highest level the targets of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress. He also affirmed that the success of the upcoming 18th Provincial Party Congress not only requires drastic and close direction in this final stage but is the result of a long-term struggle and a long-term vision. It is necessary to focus on building a long-term and synchronous plan in all aspects of economy - culture - society - security - politics so that Nghe An can quickly and sustainably make a breakthrough in the task of building a fairly good province according to Resolution 26 of the Politburo.
