Passenger bus transporting cattle and buffalo organs of unknown origin seized
(Baonghean.vn) - At 8:00 p.m. on March 18, Nghe An Market Management Team No. 4 coordinated with the Traffic Police Team of Quynh Luu District to arrest a passenger bus carrying a large quantity of cattle and buffalo organs of unknown origin on the way to be sold.
Accordingly, at around 8:00 p.m. on March 18, upon receiving information from the base, Nghe An Market Management Team No. 4 coordinated with the Traffic Police Team of Quynh Luu district to block National Highway 1A at the Cau Giat town intersection to inspect a passenger car with license plate 76B - 00317 driven by Nguyen Minh Hoang, residing in Quang Ngai province, traveling on National Highway 1A from Hanoi to Quang Ngai. Through inspection, the market management team discovered that the car was carrying 8 foam boxes weighing 980 kg of cattle and buffalo viscera of unknown origin, without valid invoices or documents.

According to the driver’s initial statement, the goods of unknown origin were hired by a Hanoi owner to be transported to the central provinces and someone came to receive them. However, before the goods could be distributed, they were seized by the authorities of Quynh Luu district.
On the morning of March 19, the above-mentioned organs of unknown origin were transported to Ngoc Son landfill for destruction according to the law.
