Suzuki's 150cc Gixxer SF, inspired by the MotoGP series, has just been launched in India with a price tag of $1,340.

Suzuki Motorcycle India has officially introduced the Gixxer SF, a MotoGP-inspired version of the Gixxer launched last year. The design of the Gixxer SF inherits many details from Suzuki's larger displacement motorcycles such as the Hayabusa and GSX-R.

At the heart of the Gixxer SF is a 154.9cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing a maximum power of 14.8 hp at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 14 Nm at 6,000 rpm. It features a 5-speed gearbox.

The new manual transmission motorcycle has dimensions of 2,050 x 785 x 1,085 mm (length x width x height), with a wheelbase of 1,330 mm. Ground clearance is 160 mm, and the fuel tank capacity is 12 liters. The SF version weighs approximately 4 kg more than the standard Gixxer, at 139 kg. It uses a telescopic front suspension and an adjustable monoshock rear suspension. It features a single disc brake for the front wheel and a drum brake for the rear. The Gixxer SF retains features such as LED taillights and a digital instrument panel.
