Twelve trapped workers were successfully rescued.
According to the latest news from the rescue team at the Da Dang - Da Chomo hydroelectric tunnel collapse site, all 12 workers trapped inside the tunnel have been rescued.
According to rescue workers, when engineers were digging a tunnel on the left side for 14 meters (out of a planned 30 meters), they unexpectedly found a hole. They then veered to the left and discovered people sitting in the section of the tunnel that hadn't collapsed, so they quickly brought everyone out.According to leaders of Lam Dong province, the rescue of the victims at this time was unexpected by the steering committee. "Nevertheless, this is incredibly good news, especially since the health of the workers is still assured," said Mr. Doan Van Viet, Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, expressing his joy.
