Through the Association for the Support of Poor Patients, from 2007 to present, Vinamilk has donated nearly 4 billion VND to support children with heart surgery, free surgery for children with cleft lip, cleft palate, etc.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tu - Chairman of Vinamilk Trade Union said: "Supporting poor children in difficult times shows Vinamilk's love and responsibility towards the community, especially children. This is a beautiful tradition of Vietnamese people in general and Vinamilk's culture in particular."

In nearly 40 years of presence in the Vietnamese market, Vinamilk not only brings consumers many healthy products, but also always cares about community-oriented activities.

The Vietnam Grow Tall Milk Fund was established in 2008, under the chairmanship of the Vietnam Children's Fund (under the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) in collaboration with Vinamilk as a meaningful program. The Vietnam Grow Tall Milk Fund was established with the aim of reaching out to disadvantaged children across the country, with a seemingly simple but extremely practical action - giving them nutritious glasses of milk to help them have the opportunity to develop more comprehensively in terms of physical and mental health for a brighter future. Originating from the 1 million glasses of milk program, up to now, the total amount of milk that the Milk Fund has brought to more than 332 thousand disadvantaged children in Vietnam is nearly 25.5 million glasses of milk, equivalent to about 93 billion VND.

The program “1 Million Trees Fund for Vietnam” is a joint activity between the General Department of Environment (VEA) and Vinamilk with the aim of planting more trees in provinces and cities, improving the living environment for Vietnamese people. The program is expanded to areas where trees bring practical benefits to the community such as: residential areas, public areas, central roads, schools, mangrove forests, protective forests... in provinces and cities nationwide.

From 2012 to 2015, the program "1 Million Trees Fund for Vietnam" organized tree planting in 12 provinces and cities nationwide with a total of nearly 200,000 trees of all kinds.

In addition to the activities of the “Vietnam Grow Tall Milk Fund” and the “1 Million Trees for Vietnam Fund”, Vinamilk has also continuously carried out many other meaningful social activities such as: Awarding scholarships to Ben Tre students every year, supporting many Vietnamese Heroic Mothers in Quang Nam and Ben Tre; donating billions of VND to officers and soldiers of the Coast Guard and Vietnam Fisheries Surveillance Force in the struggle to protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland... At the same time, Vinamilk has also established health nutrition counseling centers across the country, examining and providing free milk every year to thousands of children, primary school students and malnourished subjects.
