Transporting drugs to sell to addicts.

(Baonghean.vn) - At 11:15 PM on April 10th, the Command Post of My Ly Border Guard Station, Nghe An Border Guard Command, received a report from the public stating that an individual was transporting drugs into the area to sell to addicts.

The unit commander immediately dispatched a reconnaissance team to verify the information and set up an ambush in the area where the suspect was likely to pass through. As the clock struck April 11th, a suspect matching the information provided by the public appeared. The reconnaissance team immediately conducted an investigation. During questioning, the suspect identified himself as Vi Văn Giáp, born in 1994, residing in Hòa Lý village, Mỹ Lý commune, Kỳ Sơn district, and stated that he was transporting 1.58 grams of heroin into the area to sell to drug addicts when he was discovered and arrested.

The drug trafficker was arrested by My Ly Border Guard Station.

Currently, My Ly Border Guard Station is finalizing the case file and handing over the suspect and evidence to the district police for further investigation and processing.
