Immediately after the news report was published, the leaders of the Nghe An Department of Transport directed an investigation into the reported issues. Based on the survey results, the Department recently upgraded the damaged section using its annual minor repair budget.

On April 22nd, the winning bidder, VHT Nghe An Construction Joint Stock Company, commenced construction to upgrade the "critical point" to ensure traffic safety.
