Some notes about the 2015 national high school exam

The 2015 National High School Exam has two purposes: to serve as a basis for high school graduation and to consider university and college admission, so the structure of the exam will be different from previous years.

According to the Ministry of Education and Training, the exam content is within the high school curriculum, mainly the 12th grade curriculum.

The exam sets requirements at two levels: basic and advanced. The score for the basic level accounts for about 60% of the total score and for the advanced level accounts for about 40% of the total score, to ensure that the candidates' level is classified. For example, with the math test: in the sample test, the number of easy basic knowledge questions accounts for 60% of the test, according to the formula: 6 + 1 + 2 + 1 (6 easy points, 1 medium point, 2 difficult points and 1 very difficult point).

Therefore, candidates who do not intend to use the results of any exam to apply for university or college should focus on doing well on the basic questions.
