Shooting near US Congress headquarters, Capitol Hill locked down

Reuters and THX reported that the police protecting the US Congress said on April 11 that Capitol Hill (headquarters of this legislative body) in Washington DC was locked down after a nearby shooting, however, the police "neutralized" the suspect.

"The Capitol is on lockdown due to a potential security threat. No one is allowed in or out of the building," said Capitol Police spokeswoman Kimberly Schneider in a statement.
