(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 20, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the regular meeting of the Provincial People's Committee in April 2015. Attending the meeting were members of the Provincial People's Committee; Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors.

At the meeting, we listened to and gave opinions on 5 contents: Results of the implementation of the Conclusion Notice of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee at the regular meeting in March 2015; The implementation of the socio-economic development plan, national defense and security and the implementation of the state budget estimate in April 2015, tasks and solutions in May 2015; Approval of the draft model of the Nghe Tinh Soviet Monument of the project to Preserve and promote the value of the Nghe Tinh Soviet relic; Draft Resolution of the Provincial People's Council on approving the budget for the sub-project "Investment in equipment, means of fire prevention and rescue for the provincial Fire Prevention and Rescue Police force from 2015 to 2018".

Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee spoke about the role of the fire police force and rescue forces in social security.

Comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that it is necessary to pay attention to the infrastructure of industrial parks and propose policies to create a fair investment environment.

Comrade Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee commented that the province's competitiveness index increased but there are still some important indicators that tend to decrease compared to last year.

Among the 8 key tasks set out by the regular meeting of the Provincial People's Committee in March 2015, relevant units have focused on timely implementation, in accordance with the direction. The situation of agricultural, forestry and fishery production has grown well and increased synchronously compared to the same period in 2014. Industrial production has recovered slowly, the development index in April 2015 decreased by 4% compared to March 2015 but increased by 6.15% compared to April 2014. The accumulated first quarter of 2015 of some key industrial products such as electricity, fresh milk, construction stone, beer, cement, fiber, etc. has increased compared to the same period last year. The trade and service sector has grown well, the accumulated 4-month import-export turnover of goods increased by 3.45% and 4.78% compared to the same period.

In the first 4 months of the year, state budget revenue is estimated at VND 2,533,820 million, reaching 31% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council and increasing by 18.2% over the same period last year; Budget expenditure is estimated at VND 5,473,610 million, reaching 31% of the estimate assigned by the Provincial People's Council.

Comrade Ho Ngoc Sy - Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development reported on the development of agriculture, forestry and fishery.

Colonel Ha Tan Tien - Commander of the Provincial Military Command spoke about the phenomenon of gasoline smuggling.

Based on the socio-economic development situation in April 2015, key tasks for May 2015 are set out: Strengthening direction, promoting comprehensive socio-economic development - national defense and security; Continuing to strengthen the implementation of administrative reforms; Focusing on completing the targets of the Congress for the 2010-2015 term and urging and directing the grassroots Congress, towards the 27th Provincial Party Congress. Regarding budget revenue and expenditure, promoting the work of preventing revenue loss, strengthening management in areas and activities with revenue loss; urging the completion of administrative procedures for construction works and settlement work.

Comrade Ho Mau Thanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Tourism and Sports spoke about the preparation for the organization of the National Lotus Village Festival in 2015.

Colonel Ho Sy Tuan - Representative of the Provincial Fire Police Department presented the project to invest in fire prevention and fighting equipment and means and rescue in the period of 2015 - 2018.

Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong listened to the introduction of the model of the Nghe Tinh Soviet Monument.

After listening to the reports and comments of the meeting members, comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong concluded that the first quarter of 2015 achieved positive results in all socio-economic aspects.
