Con Cuong police arrest drug trafficker

(Baonghean.vn) - After many days of collecting records and documents, at around 10:00 a.m. on April 21, 2015, the Investigation Police Agency of Con Cuong District Police issued an arrest warrant and an emergency search for Quang Van Huong (1973), residing in Na Duoi village, Mau Duc, Con Cuong, for the act of illegal drug trafficking.

Searching Huong's home, the police seized 1.080g of heroin, 0.35g of crystal meth, and 12 synthetic drug pills.

Beneficiaries at the competent authority

At the investigation agency, Huong confessed that he was a serious drug addict and had been sentenced to 2 years in prison by Con Cuong court for illegal possession of drugs.

After being released from prison for a few months, Huong went to Tuong Duong district to buy drugs and divide them into small pieces to sell to addicts in the area.

Currently, the Investigation Police Agency is detaining Quang Van Huong for further investigation.
