Arrest of 2 extremely dangerous wanted subjects in Laos

(Baonghean.vn) - Thanks to the concentration of forces to grasp the situation and synchronously deploy professional measures, the Criminal Investigation Police Department of Nghe An Police has just captured 2 especially dangerous wanted subjects in the capital Vientiane, Lao PDR.

After traveling nearly 800 km, on the morning of June 4, the Working Group of the Criminal Investigation Department of Nghe An Police brought two especially dangerous wanted criminals arrested in Laos to Vinh City, Nghe An.

Previously, in Vientiane City (Laos), the Nghe An Police Wanted Persons Department coordinated with the Lao police force and the representative of the Vietnamese police in Laos to successfully arrest two subjects: Luong Van Phenh, born in 1958, residing in Son Thanh village, Ta Ca commune, Ky Son district and Kha Thi May Ma, born in 1974, residing in Huu Lap commune, Ky Son district. Both subjects had special dangerous wanted warrants for the crime of illegal drug trafficking and both fled to Laos and changed their names as well as had many tricks to conceal their origins and crimes. The arrest of the two subjects took place in two places nearly 100km apart, ensuring speed and safety.

Currently, the Criminal Investigation Department of Nghe An Police is completing the dossier to transfer the subjects to the authorities for handling according to the law./.
