Inspecting security arrangements for Party Congresses at all levels.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 17, 2015, a delegation from the Ministry of Public Security, led by Major General Nguyen Ngoc Trang, Director of the Internal Political Security Department, inspected the situation and results of security work for the Party Congress at all levels at the Vinh City Police Department.

Over the past period, the Vinh City Police have closely coordinated with the City Party Committee's internal political security agency to verify and disseminate information, supplementing the planning dossiers for leadership and management at all levels for the 2015-2020 term; and collaborated in advising on the implementation of a plan to establish a working group to review internal political matters serving the 13th Vinh City Party Congress. They proactively engaged in dialogue with individuals involved in activities exploiting democracy and complaints in the area; implemented professional measures and coordinated with the Provincial Police to combat reactionary cases, preventing reactionary organizations from operating in a complex manner in the area; directed wards, communes, and professional teams to strengthen the implementation of plans to combat various types of crimes and ensure security and order in the area; and intensified armed patrols, 24/7 armed patrols, inspections of temporary residences and absences, inspections of printing establishments and businesses with conditional licenses, and handling traffic safety violations, contributing to ensuring security and order.

Concluding the meeting, Major General Nguyen Ngoc Trang highly appreciated the results achieved by the Vinh City Police in protecting the Party Congress in the past period. He requested the Vinh City Police to continue to effectively implement the plans of the Provincial Police, proactively advise the City Party Committee and the City People's Committee on related issues, and at the same time do a good job of ensuring national security, propaganda work, and mobilizing the people to prevent complex incidents from occurring. He also requested them to proactively coordinate and exchange information with the professional departments of the Provincial Police, maintain good duty and combat readiness; intensify the attack and crackdown on crime, strengthen state management of security and order, ensure traffic safety, prevent and control fires and explosions, manage conditional businesses, and manage residence to ensure security and order, contributing to the overall success of the Party Congress at all levels in Nghe An province.
