(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 21, the final session of the Quynh Luu District Party Congress, term XXVII, 2015-2020 term ended successfully.

Attending the Congress were comrades: Nguyen Huu Lam, Standing Committee member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee; Le Ba Hung, Standing Committee member, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department.

At the meeting, the Congress elected 17 comrades to attend the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2015-2020 and alternate delegates.

The Congress continued to listen to presentations from localities, departments and branches to contribute to the Congress in building an action program and implementing targets in the economic, cultural and social fields; building a strong Party, government and organizations.

Delegate Nguyen Anh Hung, Head of the District Agricultural and Fisheries Extension Station, contributed ideas on building high-quality rice output targets.

The Congress also voted to approve the synthesis of comments for the Documents of the 12th National Congress of the Party, the Political Report of the 18th Provincial Party Congress; and the Report on the standards and personnel structure of the 18th Provincial Party Committee, term 2015-2020.

Comrade Le Duc Cuong, Secretary of Quynh Luu District Party Committee, passed the Congress Resolution.

The Congress voted to pass the Congress Resolution with 29 targets. Accordingly, the average economic growth rate is 10-11%. Economic structure: Agriculture: 32-33%; Industry-Construction: 33-34%; Services: 33-35%; Average income per capita reaches 65-70 million VND. The poverty rate is below 2%.

Regarding party building, the district strives to recruit 300 party members every year, reducing 1-2 hamlets without party cells; 50% of private enterprises with 30 or more employees working stably and long-term have party cells and recruit new party members. The district government, Fatherland Front and mass organizations continuously achieve excellence; the police and military continuously achieve victory; every year, over 90% of grassroots party organizations are HTTNV or higher, with no weak grassroots party organizations. The district party committee continuously achieves the title of strong.
