Toyota Hilux 2016 completely "transformed" in interior

After revealing the engine list, interior and exterior images of the 2016 Toyota Hilux continue to leak.

In terms of exterior appearance, the 2016 Hilux is sporty, with a powerful front end with a grille that has only two horizontal bars instead of three as before, and more neatly swept-back headlights. The central trapezoidal air intake is rotated up instead of upside down. The two fog lamp recesses are deeper and wider like on sports cars.

Meanwhile, the interior space is completely newly designed, similar to passenger cars with a modern control cluster including a large touch screen.

Under the hood, the previous 2.5L and 3.0L diesel engines will be replaced by smaller 2.4L and 2.8L units with 150hp and 167hp respectively. There will also be a 177hp version. All will come with manual or automatic transmissions.

As planned, Toyota Hilux 2016 will officially launch at the end of this year.
