Investment Newspaper awards scholarships in Nam Dan.

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 12th, Investment Newspaper organized many meaningful activities in Nam Dan - the birthplace of President Ho Chi Minh.

The delegation visited the Kim Lien historical site, offered incense and flowers in commemoration of President Ho Chi Minh, and toured his paternal and maternal hometowns, as well as several historical sites in the district.

Representatives from the Investment Newspaper presented scholarships to underprivileged students who excelled in their studies.

The Investment Newspaper and businesses also presented gifts to 9 outstanding teachers facing difficult circumstances.

Later that afternoon, leaders of the Investment Newspaper and various businesses directly presented 100 scholarships to 100 underprivileged students who excelled in their studies at all levels in the district. Each scholarship was worth 500,000 VND and included a gift sponsored by TH True Milk Company. They also presented 9 gifts to 9 teachers facing difficult circumstances but with outstanding teaching achievements, each gift worth 1 million VND.

On this occasion, Investment Newspaper also donated 10 computer sets, worth 60 million VND, to help Nam Loc Primary School, a Catholic community, build a computer classroom to improve teaching conditions in line with the goal of bringing information technology into schools.

This is an annual activity within the twinning program between Investment Newspaper and Nam Dan district, demonstrating the affection and sharing of the staff and reporters of Investment Newspaper, as well as businesses and sponsors, towards underprivileged students who excel academically in the district, President Ho Chi Minh's hometown. It aims to further strengthen the good and heartfelt relationship that has been maintained for many years between the two organizations.
