The ancient tree in question is located in Shizhu County, Chongqing. It is 60 meters tall and has a diameter of approximately 3 meters.

Ninety percent of the tree trunk, the part closest to the ground, is hollow, forming a large cavity large enough to hold more than 10 people. From inside this cavity, one can look up at the sky through a small hole at the top.

According to an old man in the village, if fog appears around the hole on a sunny day, it might rain two days later. If you look through the hole and see clouds, even a heavy rain will stop.

According to 92-year-old Tang Wenshu, villagers often rely on these predictions to plan activities such as planting and harvesting. The plant's predictive accuracy is up to 90%.

Mr. Tang also revealed that the tree is like a celebrity, attracting many visitors, but neither he nor the older people know exactly how old it is.

This ancient tree has long been a gathering place for villagers to drink tea, chat, and seek shelter from the sun and rain.

According to an expert at the Shizhu Meteorological Agency, there is a temperature difference between the inside and outside of trees, so people can predict weather changes by observing fog or clouds.
