At 1:15 a.m. the same day, in the area of ​​Tong Hoc II village, Huu Khuong commune, Tuong Duong district, Nghe An province, Tri Le Border Post presided over and coordinated with the Department of Drug Crime Prevention and Control (Provincial Border Guard), Nhon Mai Border Post and Que Phong District Police to destroy a group of people illegally buying, selling, transporting and storing drugs. Previously, through professional work, the functional forces investigated and verified and discovered a group of subjects in Pieng Luong village, Tri Le commune, Que Phong district and Tong Hoc II village, Huu Khuong commune, Tuong Duong district, who were involved in large-scale drug trafficking activities. They often used the house of subject Va Cha Gia in Tong Hoc II village as a transaction location.

The evidence was 3 cakes of heroin and a sharp knife.

When the task force approached the house of the suspect Gia, they discovered that there were a number of subjects inside the house, and the outside was guarded very carefully. The detectives moved closer to Gia's house, waiting for the opportunity to solve the case. When the subjects were conducting drug transactions and trading, the task force simultaneously raided to conduct inspection and arrest. When they discovered the authorities, the subjects used sticks, bricks and stones to fight back fiercely to escape. Taking advantage of the darkness and complex terrain, some subjects quickly escaped. The detectives arrested the subject Va Cha Gia, born in 1970, residing at the above address. He was both the homeowner and the leader of the group. At the scene, the detectives seized evidence of 3 cakes of heroin and 1 sharp knife.
