(Baonghean.vn) - This was the main point emphasized by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung during the regular online government meeting in June 2015, held on the afternoon of June 29th.

Attending from the Nghe An location were Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the Vice Chairmen and members of the Provincial People's Committee; and leaders representing various departments and agencies.

At the afternoon session, the ministers raised concerns and made recommendations to local authorities on several issues, including focusing on drug rehabilitation targets, accelerating the transformation of rehabilitation centers, implementing administrative reforms, strictly enforcing epidemic control measures, inspecting reservoirs and irrigation lakes, closely monitoring smuggled and counterfeit goods, and effectively resolving complex mass complaints, etc.

Minister of Health Nguyen Thi Kim Tien addressed the issue of health insurance contributions.

Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung stated that the economic, cultural, social, national defense, and security situation in the first six months of the year was basically stable, showing positive progress, with the people nationwide feeling enthusiastic and confident, and receiving high praise from international friends. The economic growth rate in the second quarter was higher than in the first quarter, creating a favorable foundation for exceeding the set plan in the coming period. However, the Prime Minister also emphasized some remaining limitations such as slower agricultural growth compared to the same period last year, drought damage to agriculture, export growth which slowed down compared to the same period last year, and slow restructuring, especially in state-owned enterprises, etc.

The Prime Minister also emphasized that all levels and sectors need to implement tasks and solutions in a coordinated manner, striving to exceed the set growth targets. Particular attention should be paid to issues such as: promoting tourism and increasing the number of tourists in the coming period. Information technology must be applied effectively, macroeconomic stability must be maintained, mechanisms and procedures must be reformed to enhance the business environment, attract investment, support ethnic minorities, and focus on effectively managing the national high school graduation exam.

Particularly in matters of security, defense, foreign affairs, and international integration, the Prime Minister requested that relevant ministries and agencies implement these measures in the best possible way, creating a favorable environment for development. Regarding healthcare, the Prime Minister requested that provinces direct local hospitals to effectively apply scientific and technological advancements to become satellite hospitals for larger hospitals, ensuring adequate healthcare for the people.
