(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 12, people of Trung Village, Hung Tan Commune, Hung Nguyen District happily celebrated the national solidarity festival.

Attending the festival were comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the Fatherland Front of Nghe An province, leaders of Hung Nguyen district, government and people of Trung village, Hung Tan commune.

Trung Village, also known as Hamlet 2, Hung Tan Commune, has 111 households. People live mainly on agricultural production. In recent years, implementing the movement to build a cultural life in residential areas, build new rural areas and other movements promoted by the Fatherland Front, the face of Trung Village has changed a lot. Currently, in the village, only 4.5% of households are poor, 70% of households are well-off and rich. Cultural, environmental institutions, and rural roads have all met standards. Last year, people in the village contributed 500 million VND to build a cultural house, a volleyball court, and a 5,000 square meter soccer field. People also donated more than 10,000 square meters of land for rural roads, intra-field roads, and the government and people completed 3km of concrete roads, contributing to bringing Hung Tan Commune to the finish line early in the new rural construction movement.

Performance by children of Trung Village

Currently, the average income of the village is 25 million VND/person/year. The main economic sectors are aquaculture, farms and labor export, etc. This is also the first locality of Hung Tan commune to be recognized as a provincial-level cultural village.

At the festival, the Trung village executive committee reviewed the glorious 84-year tradition of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, summarizing the movements and campaigns launched and chaired by the Fatherland Front.

Speaking at the national solidarity festival, comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh praised the comprehensive achievements that the cadres and people of Lang Trung have achieved in recent years. She hopes that people will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, build village and neighborhood relationships, and develop the socio-economy together. Hung Nguyen district needs to build more model villages and hamlets in economic development movements and build cultural life in residential areas like Lang Trung.
