The cheapest Sorento version in Vietnam

Manufacturer and distributor Thaco Kia has just introduced another version for the 7-seat New Sorento model in the Vietnamese market.

The design and exterior equipment of this version are completely similar to the versions previously available on the market.

This version uses a 2.4-liter Theta II gasoline engine, maximum capacity of 174 horsepower at 6,000 rpm, maximum torque of 227 Nm at 3,750 rpm.

This is also the engine block equipped on another 7-seat car model from Korea, the Hyundai SantaFe.

Kia New Sorento GAT is equipped with a 6-speed automatic transmission with integrated fuel consumption control system (Eco), cruise control function, remote control key. Safety equipment includes anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), anti-theft alarm, rear parking assist sensor and rear camera. However, the car only has 2 airbags.

New Sorento is equipped with a fairly complete interior, with a leather-wrapped steering wheel with integrated audio control buttons, a 6-speaker DVD audio system with integrated navigation map with multimedia connectivity, a 2-zone automatic air conditioning system with a cooling system for the 3rd row of seats and an ion air filter, electric windows with anti-jamming function, leather interior...

The exterior design and equipment of this version are similar to the previous versions. The car has dimensions of 4,685 mm long, 1,885 mm wide and 1,755 mm high. The signature Kia tiger nose grille, headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, and modern LED tube taillights.

New Sorento GAT in the Vietnamese market has the softest retail price of the 4 versions currently being distributed, at 873 million VND.
