Celebrating 10 years of establishment of Quan Bau ward (Vinh city)

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 27, 2015, Quan Bau ward (Vinh city) celebrated its 10th anniversary.

Attending the event were comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, comrade Nguyen Xuan Sinh - Chairman of the City People's Committee.

Quan Bau Ward was established under Decree No. 39/2005/ND-CP dated March 23, 2005 of the Government. The ward has a total area of ​​over 231 hectares, the population is merged from 3 hamlets of Hung Dong commune and 5 blocks of Le Loi ward.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the emulation flag to Quan Bau ward.

Since its establishment, the Party, government and people have united together to build the ward to develop more and more. The average income per capita/year reached more than 63 million VND. The economic structure shifted in the right direction, trade and services increased. The total budget revenue for 10 years is estimated at 114 billion VND.

The socio-cultural and national defense fields are given attention, and public health care is maintained and increasingly improved. The urban appearance of the ward is increasingly prosperous, promoting the socio-economic development of the ward.

With the achievements in the past 10 years, at the celebration on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the emulation flag and certificate of merit of the Provincial People's Committee to Quan Bau ward.
