Chairman of Vietnam Farmers' Union visits production model in Hung Nguyen
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 5, comrade Nguyen Quoc Cuong - Member of the Party Central Committee - Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Union and the working delegation visited a number of livestock and production models in Hung Nguyen district. The delegation visited the chicken farming model of Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien's family in hamlet 4, Hung Tien. Currently, his farm has 12,000 chickens, supplying 8,000 eggs to the market every day. Annual revenue is approximately 6 billion VND, net profit is 500 million to 1 billion VND/year. In addition, his family also raises pigs and fish, creating jobs for 7 workers.
Next, the delegation visited the super lean pig farming model of Mr. Le Quoc Tan and Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong's family in Hamlet 5, Hung Tien Commune. On an area of 2.3 hectares of crops and 500 square meters of barns, they develop pig farming. Each year, they sell nearly 100 tons of pork. Currently, his family is expanding the farm to raise super lean pigs.
The Chairman of the Vietnam Farmers' Union highly appreciated the effectiveness of the livestock farming models in Hung Tien commune (Hung Nguyen). He emphasized that households need to ensure good livestock farming processes, especially disease prevention and environmental protection; at the same time, he suggested that Farmers' Unions at all levels pay attention to and replicate the models to help farmers change their economic structure and become rich.
