Localities and schools hold talks to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20

(Baonghean.vn) -In the joyful atmosphere of the whole country towards the day of gratitude to teachers, on November 19, 2014, Quy Chau High School organized a talk show to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day November 20.

The discussion was attended by generations of teachers who have been working at the school in recent years; representatives of local government leaders; agencies located in the area; and parents' association also came to congratulate the teachers on the holiday.

Comrade Phan Duc Dong (first person on the right), Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quy Chau district presented flowers and gifts to the School Board.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Quy Chau District High School organized a performance contest with the participation of many teachers and more than 120 contestants from 3 grades (10-11-12).

The 12th grade's bamboo dance performance won first prize in the competition.

As a result, the grade 12 art team won first prize with the bamboo dance performance, the grade 11 art team won second prize and the grade 10 art team won third prize.

Although it was established just over a year ago, associated with the birth of Hoang Mai town and facing many difficulties, in recent times, the education sector of Hoang Mai town has closely followed political and professional tasks, and has done a good job of directing the entire sector to carry out emulation movements and campaigns. In the 2013-2014 school year, the whole town had 41 schools with over 1,000 teachers, including 18 advanced labor collectives, 106 grassroots emulation fighters, 839 advanced laborers, 5 collectives recognized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee as advanced labor collectives, 07 excellent students at the national level, 83 excellent students at the provincial level, 284 excellent students at the city level and excellent students at Math for children, 92 students achieved excellent students in English online. The application of IT in teaching and educational management continues to have positive changes; Organize the selection of 4 high-quality classes at Quynh Thien Secondary School as a premise for improving the quality of excellent students.

At the meeting, delegates reviewed the tradition of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, participated in many performances to express gratitude to teachers, and shared memories, feelings and concerns about the career of educating people.

Awarding 5 advanced labor collectives

On this occasion, the People's Committee of Hoang Mai town awarded 5 advanced labor collectives recognized by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; the Hoang Mai Department of Education and Training gave gifts to retired management staff; VNPT Quynh Luu presented 20 million VND and 4 bicycles to the Hoang Mai Education Promotion Association. This is a timely gratitude and sharing for those who have made great efforts in teaching and learning, timely sharing and support so that those who have been and are attached to the education sector and students have more motivation, continue to make many contributions to help Hoang Mai education develop more and more firmly.
