Ánh Viên's eighth gold medal and tears appeared in a Literature exam question for 10th graders in Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu.

On the morning of June 15th, the Literature exam for 10th grade entrance in Ba Ria - Vung Tau featured an image of SEA Games champion swimmer Nguyen Thi Anh Vien.

"On the evening of June 11th, concluding the final day of swimming competition, Nguyen Thi Anh Vien continued her outstanding performance by winning the gold medal in the 200m breaststroke. This is the eighth gold medal for Vietnam's top swimmer at the 28th SEA Games. It is also the ninth gold medal for the Vietnamese Sports Delegation that day."

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Giang, Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, said that the above exam was for students taking the 10th grade entrance exam, which took place on the morning of June 15th. "The exam was designed according to the Ministry of Education and Training's directives on teaching and learning literature, not only to test knowledge but also to assess students' abilities and character. Previously, literature exams in schools were often formulaic, and students memorized the material. Thus, the goal of education linked to practical application was not being implemented."

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Giang hopes that the younger generation will learn from Anh Vien's example of relentless effort and striving for the national flag. From this, each student will become more responsible towards the country.

Following the conclusion of the Literature exam in the 10th grade entrance exam in Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Mr. Giang stated that many parents and students have given positive feedback on the exam questions.
