22 million VND awarded to support families of drowning victims

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of May 22, the Thanh Chuong Association in Germany coordinated with the Thanh Chuong District People's Committee to present 22 million VND in support to the families of two students from Dong Tuong Secondary School who drowned on May 10, 2015.

At the families, representatives of the Thanh Chuong Association in Germany and representatives of the district People's Committee presented 17 million VND to the family of Nguyen Thi Cam Tu in Hamlet 4, Thanh Tuong Commune and 5 million VND to the family of Le Thi Ha My in Hamlet 4, Thanh Dong Commune with the wish to contribute to encouraging and sharing the pain of loss that the families are facing.

This is a noble gesture showing the spirit of mutual love and support for the homeland of children working far away from home. The most heartbreaking thing is that the body of Nguyen Thi Cam Tu has not been found yet. Currently, the leaders of Thanh Chuong district are continuing to direct the local authorities of Thanh Tuong commune to actively coordinate with the family to search for her body.
