Ha Thin says goodbye to Song Lam Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn)- After nearly half a decade with Song Lam Nghe An Club, famous veteran Ha Thin officially quit his job at SLNA.
On the afternoon of July 10, veteran Ha Thin told Nghe An Newspaper reporters that his resignation request had been approved by the leadership of Song Lam Nghe An club. After 47 years of association, he will officially say goodbye to Song Lam Nghe An.
Regarding the reason for his resignation, veteran Ha Thin said that due to his old age and declining health, he submitted his resignation half a month ago, but Song Lam Nghe An Club has only now agreed to let him resign. Ha Thin is currently the coach of U13 Song Lam Nghe An. After resigning, the task of coaching U13 was transferred to coach Nguyen Van Thinh. Previously, Ha Thin was the person chosen to replace coach Ngo Quang Truong in Laos to help the Xieng Khouang province team.

In the late 70s of the last century, when mentioning Ha Thin, fans all over the country had to respect him for his special talents that not every striker had. Originally a young player in the first generation of Nghe An football, in 1968, Ha Thin was recruited into the Nghe Tinh youth team. After a period of ups and downs with the round ball, wearing a worker's uniform and playing football, Ha Thin became an indispensable striker of the Song Lam Nghe Tinh Club.Participate in the national B tournament with the goal of being promoted to A2.
In 1988, after leaving SLNA, Ha Thin went to Germany to study Football. 4 years later, he returned to coach SLNA's youth teams. At that time, Song Lam Nghe An was famous for its "hard-hitting, iron-chopping" style of play and it was Ha Thin who "blew a new wind" with his technical style of play, softening the steel legs of Nghe An players. He pursued that philosophy and many people considered him "the technician of Vietnamese football". It was Ha Thin's technical philosophy that contributed to his new achievements in youth coaching.

The news of veteran Ha Thin leaving SLNA made many people regretful. Former player Quoc Vuong shared with Ha Thin and hoped that he would continue playing because to"give the children experience because Uncle Ho's experience is something that cannot be bought". Meanwhile, Ha Thin shared that although he left SLNA, his soul, feelings, passion and enthusiasm are still devoted to his hometown team. He only hopes that the younger players and coaches will continue the tradition of their fathers and seniors, the tradition of the club to bring SLNA forward.
