Closing Ceremony of the Nghe An Tourism Industry Football Tournament
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 7th, at the Provincial Sports Arena, the Nghe An Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the closing ceremony of the men's mini-football tournament to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnamese tourism industry (July 9th, 1960 - July 9th, 2015).
The tournament took place over 3 days (July 4-7, 2015), with more than 150 athletes from 13 teams representing agencies, units, and hotel businesses in the area (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Training Center, Management Board of the National Tourism Administration (Board A), Phuong Dong Petroleum Tourism Joint Stock Company, Muong Thanh Song Lam, Muong Thanh Thanh Nien, Muong Thanh Vinh, Media, Anphaan, Beijing, Shanghai, Saigon Kim Lien, and Nghe An Travel Club).

After three days of exciting competition, this morning a large audience and supporters were thrilled to witness the final match between the Muong Thanh Song Lam Hotel team and the Project Management Board for Cultural, Sports and Tourism Works (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism). The match was extremely intense and fiercely contested, ending with a 1-1 draw after two halves. As a result, the Muong Thanh Song Lam Hotel team brilliantly defeated the Project Management Board for Cultural, Sports and Tourism Works team in the penalty shootout and won the championship.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to the Muong Thanh Song Lam Hotel team, the second prize to Team Ban A (Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism), and two third prizes to the Saigon Kim Lien Hotel and the Beijing Hotel. In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded prizes for the best player (Tran Viet Anh – Saigon Kim Lien Hotel) and the best goalkeeper (Truong Van Binh – Muong Thanh Song Lam Hotel).
