The inspection received high approval from the owners of transport companies because it will help the company eliminate drivers who do not meet health requirements, help the company improve service quality, and create trust with customers. Not only transport companies, many drivers also believe that health checks and drug use are very meaningful to ensure traffic safety today.
This is the second year Nghe An has conducted periodic health checks and drug use checks for drivers in the province. According to Mr. Dinh Van Nam - Head of Vehicle and Driver Management Department, Nghe An Department of Transport, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Transport, periodic health checks for drivers are carried out by business owners. However, to strengthen inspection and supervision of this work, Nghe An Department of Transport organizes collective health checks, businesses are responsible for sending managers or employers to be present with the Department of Transport to supervise drivers coming for check-ups.
