Brigade 414 builds houses for comrades.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 10th, in Hamlet 10, Nghi Phu Commune, Vinh City, the 414th Engineering Brigade of the 4th Military Region held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of a house for Senior Lieutenant Phan Van Trong.

First Lieutenant Phan Van Trong is a BTF driver in the 414th Engineering Brigade. His family faces many difficulties, living in a dilapidated, makeshift house, and he himself has suffered a stroke and is undergoing long-term treatment in the hospital.

In that situation, Brigade 414 started the construction of a new house on a 90 m2 plot of land with a total value of 200 million VND, of which Brigade 414 contributed 70 million VND, taken from the unit's "Comradeship Fund", and the rest was contributed by relatives and family.

The house will be constructed directly by the 217th Battalion of the 414th Engineering Brigade, and is expected to be completed and handed over to the family in early October.
