(Baonghean.vn) – On the afternoon of May 15, the Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to collect opinions from departments and branches to develop the Project "Employment for workers in Nghe An province in the period 2015 - 2020". Comrade Le Xuan Dai, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee chaired the meeting.

Comrade Le Xuan Dai emphasized: This is an important meeting to provide employment solutions for workers.

Nghe An is currently a province with a large labor force and abundant human resource potential with 1,651,500 people of working age, the rate of trained workers reaching 52%. This is a great advantage in the process of implementing the goals of industrialization, modernization, and socio-economic development in the area. However, due to the large population and large labor force, it is creating a lot of pressure on job creation for workers in the area. Statistics by the end of 2014, the whole province still had more than 22,940 unemployed people and tens of thousands of underemployed workers.

In recent times, the work of job creation in the area has achieved many positive results. In the period 2011-2014, the whole province created jobs for 141,800 workers. However, the work of job creation has not yet met the needs of society, especially the lack of jobs for workers who have graduated from universities and vocational colleges. It is estimated that the labor demand for job creation from 2015-2020 is about 223,350 people.

Attracting enterprises to invest in production and business; Continuing to promote labor export; Implementing good credit policies for enterprises, production and business establishments, and workers to borrow capital to solve employment.
