Collision between US military plane and private plane

(Baonghean.vn)- At around 11:00 a.m. on July 8 local time, an F-16 military aircraft collided with a small private plane in the state of South Carolina, USA - the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said.

The private plane is known to be a Cessna C150. The accident occurred 11 miles north of Charleston. There is no information about the condition of the plane or the pilot at this time.

Local authorities said the pilot of the fighter jet ejected before the crash and a search was underway for the Cessna pilot.

A witness described the horrifying scene: “I saw two planes crash into each other, creating a huge explosion in the sky. It looked like a fireball hovering in the air.”
