The victim was Mr. Tran Van Chat (32 years old), a citizen of Thanh Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district. According to local people, at around 4am, Mr. Chat got up to go fishing alone. After 5am, his family did not see him return and could not contact him by phone, so they rushed to look for him. At around 6am, his family discovered Mr. Chat dead with the fishing equipment, in a shallow pond in Eo Son village (about 700m from his house).

Currently, the family and local authorities are preparing to hold a funeral for the victim according to local customs. It is known that Tran Van Chat, an orphan since childhood, his mother remarried, he works as a hairdresser, has a small child and his wife is about to give birth to a second child./.
