Two children's cosmetic products have been recalled.

The Drug Administration Department of the Ministry of Health has issued a decision to suspend the nationwide distribution of two Baby Care cosmetic products for children manufactured by Viet Uc International Trade and Service Joint Stock Company.

These are two products: Baby Care Milk Bath and Baby Care Baby Wash Head To Toe, manufactured by AF Manufacturing Service SDN (Malaysia) and distributed in Vietnam by Viet Uc International Trade and Service Joint Stock Company. The reason for the suspension of these two products is that their formulas do not match the declared specifications.

Along with this decision, the Director of the Drug Administration also signed a decision to revoke the product registration certificates issued by the Drug Administration for these two cosmetic products.

The Drug Administration of Vietnam requested Viet Uc International Trade and Service Joint Stock Company to promptly send recall reports to all distributors and users of the two aforementioned products and to proceed with the recall of the entire batch of products that do not meet regulations before August 1, 2015.

The Department also requested the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and the Drug Administration of Vietnam to inspect and supervise the recall process by the violating unit and promptly send a report on the results to the Drug Administration of Vietnam.
