Vietnam - Korea Vocational College of Technology: Summary and awarding of graduation certificates to students

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 30, the Head of Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical Vocational College held a closing ceremony and awarded graduation certificates to the 6th college course and the 14th intermediate course.

Attending were representatives of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, vocational schools in the province and businesses.

The 6th vocational college course and the 14th intermediate course of the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical Vocational College were trained in the context of the Government focusing on investing in the project "Innovation and development of vocational training under the National Target Program on employment and vocational training for the period 2012 - 2015". The school was approved as one of 45 high-quality vocational schools by 2020, selected to invest in 5 key international-level occupations and 2 ASEAN-level occupations. In that context, the school has made many innovations in the way of organizing classes and teaching methods.

During the entire course, the school organized for 680 college students and 122 secondary school students of 7 professions to participate in graduation internships, practical experience for 3 months at large companies such as: Hong Hai Company, Cong Thanh Cement Factory, Mong Duong Thermal Power Plant... with the total amount of income from internships being nearly 8 billion VND.

Awarding certificates to excellent students

The 6th College course has 699 students recognized as graduates (91.85% rate), of which the graduation rate from good level and above is 61.46%. The 14th Intermediate course has 135 students.

At the ceremony, school leaders awarded graduation certificates to 6th-grade college students and 14th-grade intermediate students; and certificates of merit to 14 outstanding students.

Principal Nguyen Duy Nam expressed his hope that after graduation, students of the school will develop their skills and have stable jobs.

On this occasion, some enterprises such as Lilama 69-2 Joint Stock Company, Vinashin Labor Export Company, Catalan Company... also came to provide job consultation and recruit graduates for work.
