Tea in Tan Lap village is dry and burnt, the risk of death is very high.

In Con Cuong district, there has been no rain for many days, hot weather with temperatures ranging from 39 - 42.7 degrees Celsius, strong southwest winds blowing continuously day and night. The drought has greatly affected agricultural production: summer-autumn rice cannot be planted due to lack of water, 135 hectares of summer-autumn corn are at risk of total loss; 202/345 hectares of tea have burnt leaves and are at high risk of death; 150 hectares of sugarcane are wilted and dead, 135.7 hectares of oranges have burnt leaves, young fruits have fallen off and 1,160 hectares of cassava are withered. There have been 2 forest fires that have burned down more than 4 hectares in Mon Son and Binh Chuan.

The prolonged hot weather has caused a serious shortage of domestic water in the communes of Don Phuc, Thach Ngan, Mau Duc, Binh Chuan and Cam Lam.

If there is no rain and the heat continues to be intense, the risk of tea, oranges, sugarcane, and cassava dying in the area is very high; summer-autumn crop production will be difficult to implement due to lack of water.
