On the afternoon of July 9, Mr. Le Thanh Loi, Director of Phong Nha – Ke Bang Tourism Center, said that the Zip-line project of Chay River - Dark Cave has just been recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization as the longest 2-cable free-swing system in Vietnam.

Zip-line tourism product was built, installed and put into use in 2014. This is a fairly new type of service for tourists when coming to Quang Binh. With Zip-line, tourists will experience the thrill of crossing a 400m long river, starting from the western branch of Ho Chi Minh road and then entering Dark Cave on the other side of Chay River.

Dark Cave is 5,258m long, discovered in 1990, the cave entrance is 20m wide, 40m high. Dark Cave is both a water cave and a dry cave, 80m high. After crossing the blue Chay River by rope swing, visitors will enjoy the cool air coming from the Dark Cave entrance. Then visitors swim through cool streams, walk on wooden stairs, and in many sections have to squeeze through narrow doors with giant stalactites that have existed for millions of years.
