Opening Ceremony of the 2015 Children's Football Summer Camp

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of June 3rd, in Vinh City, the Thanh Vinh Kid football club, founded by several former SLNA veterans, held the opening ceremony for a summer football camp for teenagers and children.

The summer football camp attracted over 70 children from Vinh City. The organizers divided them into four classes based on two age groups and provided instruction in football skills, physical fitness, teamwork, and various football games.

The children had the opportunity to play football together under the dedicated guidance of their teachers.

The Thanh Vinh Kid Football Club is headed by Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tu, a former SLNA player. The coaches who teach football skills to the children are famous former SLNA players from the 1980s, most notably Coach Truong Quang Vinh – the first coach who has led many players who have now become national football stars, such as midfielder Nguyen Quang Tinh, goalkeeper Tran Nguyen Manh (currently playing for SLNA), and striker Nguyen Cong Phuong (currently playing for HAGL)…

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Tu stated: "The purpose of the Thanh Vinh Kid Football Club's summer camp is to create a healthy playground for children during the summer, teach them basic football skills, and discover talented individuals to introduce to SLNA Club. All children aged 7 to 13 can register to participate in the courses."
