A batch of 2016 Hyundai Tucson cars was just caught while going through customs clearance at Cai Mep port, Vung Tau.

This is the first batch of Hyundai Tucson 2016 to arrive in Vietnam since its introduction at the Geneva Motor Show in March. The appearance of Tucson 2016 further confirms the previously leaked information that Hyundai Thanh Cong will officially distribute the new version of this car model in Vietnam this year.

The series of cars that have just appeared in Vietnam have the same appearance as the version currently distributed in the US. With a similar style to its "big brother" SantaFe, the 2016 Tucson looks more attractive and appealing than the current version thanks to its angular design, characteristic hexagonal chrome grille and slim headlights. The front headlights are redesigned with integrated LED daytime running lights.

The interior has also been significantly improved with a more premium look thanks to soft-touch materials and a large touchscreen. In addition, there is a leather-wrapped steering wheel, chrome details on the door handles, heated and ventilated front seats, a power tailgate, and a luggage compartment capacity of 513 liters.

Nội thất được nâng cấp khá nhiều so với thế hệ trước.
The interior is upgraded quite a bit compared to the previous generation.

Currently, it is unclear which engine versions Hyundai Thanh Cong will distribute in Vietnam, however in the US, Tucson 2016 has 2 gasoline engine options including: 2.0L capacity 164 horsepower, torque 205 Nm, with 6-speed automatic transmission and 1.6L turbo capacity 175 horsepower, torque 264 Nm, combined with 7-speed EcoShift dual-clutch transmission.
