Training "Journalism skills on typical examples in society"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of August 10, in Cua Lo Town, the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam and the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism of Laos organized a training course on "Journalism skills on typical examples in society" for journalists from central and local press agencies of the Lao PDR.

Attending the opening ceremony of the course, on the Vietnamese side were comrades: Truong Minh Tuan, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications; Hoang Huu Luong, Director of the Press Department, Ministry of Information and Communications.

On the Lao side, there were comrades: Savankhon Moonti, Deputy Minister of Information - Culture & Tourism of Laos; Vilaythoong Sisanonh, Director of the Institute of Cultural Information, Ministry of Information - Culture & Tourism of Laos. 35 students from Lao press agencies attended the class.

This is the 11th course organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications of Vietnam. It is known that previous courses included many topics, with practical content, closely following the practice of journalism and social life in Laos, and were highly appreciated by students for their effectiveness and good application in journalism activities.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister Truong Minh Tuan affirmed: the course "Journalism skills on typical examples in society" was organized with the aim of helping journalists from Laos improve their writing skills about good people and good deeds, contributing to honoring and spreading good examples and humane deeds, directly contributing to building a healthier and better society.

The course will last 5 days (from August 10 to 14). Along with theoretical studies, students will visit and conduct practical research in Nam Dan district.
