Anh Son: Launching the 2015 Summer Volunteer Campaign

(Baonghean.vn) - On June 18th, at Cao Veu village, Phuc Son commune, Anh Son District Youth Union, in coordination with the Youth Union of the Aviation Engineering Company Limited - Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation, organized the launching ceremony of the 2015 summer volunteer campaign and the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction project of Cao Veu kindergarten facilities.

This is one of a series of activities in the 2015 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign and to celebrate the Party Congress at all levels, organized by the Anh Son District Youth Union.

Youth volunteers presented gifts to underprivileged students in Cao Vều village.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, youth union members in Cao Veu village commenced the construction of Cao Veu kindergarten with three components: a kitchen, a well, and sanitation facilities, totaling 120 million VND. Along with this, they also donated gifts to underprivileged children in the commune.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, the youth union members went out to carry out tasks to help the poor.

It is known that during the summer of 2015, Anh Son district will implement 46 youth projects and activities, and present 120 gifts to families entitled to preferential policies and poor children. These activities will attract the participation of 4,000 youth union members throughout the district.
