Groundbreaking ceremony of One Pillar Pagoda at Truc Lam Yen Thanh Zen Monastery

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of July 16, in Xuan Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, the Management Board of Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen Sect coordinated with the People's Committee of Yen Thanh district to organize the groundbreaking ceremony for the One Pillar Pagoda at Truc Lam Yen Thanh Zen Monastery.

The project includes Tu Thuy Lake and One Pillar Pagoda, a part of the Truc Lam Yen Thanh Zen Monastery project package in the southeast area of ​​Gam Mountain.

Delegates held the groundbreaking ceremony for the One Pillar Pagoda.

It is known that Tu Thuy Lake has an area of ​​about 2 hectares, this place was originally an old lake that was filled in, planned to be dug 5 meters deep. One Pillar Pagoda has a size of 9 x 9 meters, located in the middle of Tu Thuy Lake. After completion, this project will create a new landscape for Truc Lam Zen Monastery.

Truc Lam Yen Thanh Zen Monastery is located in the Ru Gam spiritual cultural complex, a solid military base under the Tran Dynasty, a highlight of Buddhist culture in the North Central region. Located on the top of Phuong Son (Ru Giam), Xuan Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District. Each construction bears the mark of contemporary Vietnamese Buddhist culture, while at the same time conveying the cultural, ideological and architectural messages of the current generation to future generations./.
