Do Luong: Final round of the "I love the sound of folk songs and traditional melodies" competition.

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 22nd, Do Luong District held the final round of the "I Love the Sound of Vi and Giam Folk Songs" competition for Summer 2015.

The final round of the competition featured 16 outstanding cultural performances from 15 communes and towns, selected from 33 entries in the preliminary round from the two commune clusters of Thai Son and Luu Son.

The organizers presented awards to the outstanding performances.

The folk song genres of Nghe Tinh have been vividly portrayed by theatrical troupes, focusing on themes such as love for the homeland and country, national pride, praise for the Party and beloved President Ho Chi Minh; the bond between teacher and student, the principle of remembering one's roots, respect for teachers; pure love between couples; and the cultural and revolutionary traditions of Nghe An province.

As a result, the first prize in the competition went to the Tru Son commune team with their work "We follow Uncle Ho's teachings," and the two second prizes went to the Hien Son and Minh Son commune teams.
