Weather 9/11: Welcoming the first Northeast monsoon
This is the first northeast monsoon to “attack” the North during the Bach Lo season in 2015. After that, rain and cool winds spread to the North Central provinces.
According to the forecast from the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, currently in the North of our country, a cold air mass is moving south. It is forecasted that around the morning of September 12, this cold air mass will affect the northern mountainous provinces, then affect other places in the North and North Central regions.
Due to the influence of cold air, from September 12, the northern provinces will have rain, showers and scattered thunderstorms. From the night of September 12, the north central provinces will have rain, moderate rain, heavy rain in some places and scattered thunderstorms. During the thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, hail and strong gusts of wind. The wind inland will change to the northeast at level 2-3 and in coastal areas at level 3-4.

From the afternoon of September 12, in the Gulf of Tonkin, there will be strong northeast winds of level 4-5. The northern part of the East Sea will have strong northeast winds of level 5, sometimes level 6, gusting to level 7. Rough seas.
People in the Northern and North Central regions need to be on guard against the above natural disasters that may cause damage. Mountainous areas should be on guard against heavy rains causing flash floods and sudden landslides.
