TH Group aims to expand further…
(Baonghean) - From September 14-17, 2015, TH Food Chain Joint Stock Company, a subsidiary of TH Group (owner of the TH True MILK brand), participated in the Moscow International Food Exhibition 2015 at the Moscow Exhibition and Convention Center (Russian Federation). This marks the beginning of TH's development in the Russian market, and also serves as preparation for launching a large-scale dairy farming and high-tech milk processing plant investment project in this promising market.

The Moscow International Food Exhibition 2015 was a major event attracting nearly 700 large food companies and corporations from 69 countries. TH Group's participation in the Moscow International Food Exhibition 2015 aimed to introduce and promote its fresh, clean, and naturally sourced milk products, while also developing export partnerships for fresh, clean milk in Russia and other European and Asian markets. At the exhibition, the TH true MILK booth attracted many visitors who sampled the products, and most customers highly praised TH's milk products. Notably, TH true MILK was honored to welcome Mr. Denis Butsaev, Deputy Governor of Moscow Province, and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the Russian Federation.
It is known that in July 2015, leaders of Moscow province, the Vietnamese Embassy in the Russian Federation, and Ms. Thai Huong, Chairwoman of TH Group, conducted a survey to implement a concentrated dairy farming and processing project for fresh, clean milk products with a total investment of over 1 billion USD in the Russian Federation. Mr. Denis Butsaev, Deputy Governor of Moscow province, stated: “The Moscow suburbs have great potential to attract large investment projects in the agricultural sector, especially high-tech projects. We hope that TH Group will expedite the project and invest in modern technology to quickly implement this very important and meaningful project. Moscow province is ready to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese businesses to invest in the province, especially the TH-True Milk project which applies the most advanced technology in milk processing and dairy products.” Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam to the Russian Federation, Nguyen Thanh Son, affirmed: “TH True Milk Group's investment in a large-scale milk processing project, meeting Russia's domestic needs, demonstrates Vietnam's affection and solidarity with Russia in the current difficult circumstances, and at the same time contributes to strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.”

TH's dairy farming and milk processing project in Russia is being developed in three phases. Phase 1 (2015-2016): The Group will build three farm clusters and the first milk processing plant with a capacity of 800 tons/day, on a total area of approximately 20,000 hectares, with a dairy herd of 20,000 cows. Phase 2 (2017-2019): Six farm clusters will be built, with a total herd of 100,000 cows, and the second milk processing plant with a capacity of 1,700 tons/day will be constructed. Phase 3 (2020-2025): TH Group will build 12 farm clusters with a total herd of approximately 200,000 cows and complete the Mega Milk Processing Plant. Ms. Thai Huong, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of TH Group, said: “This important project has received strong support from the Russian government and relevant authorities. TH Group's participation in this exhibition also aims to contribute to enhancing the reputation and brand of the Vietnamese dairy industry on the world dairy map.”
At the Moscow International Food Exhibition 2015, many Russian business partners showed great interest in TH True MILK's fresh milk products and hoped for their availability in Russia in the near future. Currently, TH Group is actively working to soon implement this important project in Russia.
| After 5 years of project implementation, TH Group has built the largest high-tech dairy farm in Asia with 45,000 cows, divided into 2 farm clusters, of which more than 22,000 are currently producing milk with an average milk yield of 30-40 liters/cow/day. TH has also built the most modern milk factory in Southeast Asia with a capacity of 500 million liters of milk per year. The total investment for this large-scale project reached 1.2 billion USD. Currently, TH Group operates 3 companies in its closed-loop production chain to produce the TH true MILK fresh milk line with 29 products according to the standard: "From green pastures to a glass of fresh milk": TH Dairy Food Joint Stock Company (farm), TH Dairy Joint Stock Company (factory), and TH Food Chain Company (distribution). |
