(Baonghean) - Tham Lan Cave is located at the beginning of Xop Tu village, My Ly commune, Ky Son district, about 45km from Muong Xen town, next to the inter-communal road connecting My Ly - Huoi Tu - Pha Danh communes. Tham Lan, in the Thai language, means "ten thousand people".

From a distance, Tham Lan Cave discreetly nestles against the cliff face. However, upon entering, a strange and fascinating world unfolds. The stalactites and moss-covered walls resemble prehistoric dinosaurs often depicted in films. Another cave chamber looks like the bedroom of some king or queen, complete with bed and pillows. Stretching along the approximately 300-meter-long cave floor are rocky outcrops resembling terraced rice fields of a prosperous village. Locals call the cave "Tham Lan," meaning a spacious cave capable of holding thousands of people at once.
