Famous singer Bao Yen returns to the capital stage in Lam Phuong's music night

After 10 years of absence, famous singer Bao Yen has accepted an invitation to return to the Hanoi stage, in a one-off concert, recreating the musical life and career of musician Lam Phuong on the stage of the Opera House, at 8:00 p.m. on September 20.

Musician Lam Phuong was one of the pioneers of modern Southern music before 1975 with over 200 works. In the field of love songs, it can be said that he was a source of music of this period.

Musician Lam Phuong is famous on the overseas stage, but this is the first time his music and career have been honored at the Hanoi Opera House.

Lam Phuong's music night with the theme "Longing for You" includes his famous works such as "Love Dies in Winter," "Tears of Sorrow," "Mistaken," "You're Gone," "Alone," "Withered Grass"... like the talented musician's confessions and feelings about life and love through songs.

In the program, famous singer Bao Yen will sing Lam Phuong's love songs, which "burned" her heart, making her always emotional when she sings.

A very special realm of love, dream, sadness and love of life in Lam Phuong's musical portrait will be performed by Bao Yen such as: "Please God, I'm in peace," "Last minute," "Please let time pass quickly," "A hundred memories, a thousand loves"...

Standing next to Bao Yen on stage at the music night “Thao thuc vi em”, singer Tung Duong will also make the audience “restless” when he puts on a new coat for the masterpiece “Alone” in the blues/jazz style.
