Result: Brazil 2-1 Venezuela

Goals: Thiago Silva 9', Firmino 54' - Miku 84'

Two goals from center-back Thiago Silva and midfielder Roberto Firmino were enough for Brazil to sink Venezuela. The team from the country famous for its beauty only managed to score a consolation goal thanks to Miku but could not avoid defeat and were eventually eliminated from the group stage.

With a 2-1 victory over Venezuela, Brazil has six points and is at the top of Group C. Not only that, Carlos Dunga's army also saved Colombia from the risk of being eliminated because the team only drew 0-0 with Peru in the previous match.

Top spot in Group C means Brazil will face Paraguay in the quarterfinals. Colombia will face Argentina, while Peru will face Bolivia in the semi-finals. If both qualify, Brazil and Argentina will meet in the semi-finals.
